Tom is the primary storyteller for our gaming group. He has been storytelling pretty much non-stop for our friends for nearly 4 years. Is it a tiring job? Indeed it is, but Tom is one hell of a trooper and does it for the joy of the story. When he isn’t storytelling he’s playing in Ian’s Werewolf game. When he’s not gaming it’s time to be either a retail whore or he’s spending time with his lovely wife, Alaina. Tom has been playing many different Role Playing games since the late 1990s when the guys in his Boy Scout Troop introduced him to the old kick ass TSR AD&D. He later graduated to playing the White Wolf games and has not looked back ever since. Vampire: the Masquerade was Tom’s first RPG love, but today it is Changeling: the Dreaming that holds his heart and mind. Alaina never learned how to tango; a sad loss that still wears an empty hole in her soul to this day. However, she seems to be making up for it by breathing plenty of oxygen (legal in the state of NH) and socializing with shady people (mainly, her gaming group); the latter seems to be keeping her alive better than the former. Alaina is 26 years old and greatly fears what she calls ‘muffin-hood’ (the emotional state of turning 30). Do not dwell on the muffin. It will confuse you. Moving on… Alaina is less than five feet tall, roughly 100 pounds, and is getting really sick of solicitors that ask “if her parents are home.” When she’s not drawing, singing, or role-playing with her good friends (or, actually, even when she is doing those things) she spends time with her husband, Thomas. The two of them met 4 years ago when Alaina made the sporadic decision to join a gaming group with her best friend Alice. It was the best sporadic decision she ever made. Byll is a cryptic nuisance who uses metaphors far too often. Most nights, he’s Tom and Alaina’s roommate (most days he’s working retail so they don’t count). He's quite convinced that he can use almost anything around him to help him become a more enlightened person and claims this is why he finds Mage such an interesting game. Really though, we suspect he just wanted an excuse to turn vampires into lawn chairs and silly paradoxical spells. He's played various RPGs since the mid '90s, and is an avid science fiction and fantasy reader (Roger Zelazny, Neil Gaiman, Terry Prachett, Robert Heinline...).
